Many more people now walk around the Pike District/White Flint area.
While the goal of the White Flint Sector Plan is to create a walkable neighborhood, pedestrian safety and comfort has not been enough of a priority. As someone who works, lives, and plays in the Pike District, I support plans for a safer, more walkable neighborhood and want pedestrian safety improvements made as soon as possible.
We the undersigned encourage Montgomery County and the State of Maryland to create a safer, more pedestrian- friendly environment in the Pike District.
